Connecting Square brings your orders and menu into Open and keeps them in sync. Once it's linked, orders flow into Open and your menu stays up to date from Square automatically. The setup is quick.
Connect in Open
Open walks you through the Square integration as a guided setup. Simply log into the Open Merchant Portal, then go to "New chat" and click the + icon in the chat bar, then Data sources → Square → Connect.
Follow the instructions on screen to get your Square account properly connected.
Your menu syncs from Square
After connecting, your menu comes in from Square and stays in sync — Square is your source of truth, so you keep managing items and prices there. See Your menu lives in your POS.
Running more than one location?
You authorize Square once, then link each Square location to its matching Open location. Repeat the link step for every location you want to bring online.
