Use this guide to understand how customers earn cash-back loyalty rewards.
⭐ Overview
Customers earn loyalty rewards on qualifying purchases whether they order online, in the app, or in store. How rewards are applied depends on where the order is placed, but once a customer is connected to their loyalty account, rewards accrue automatically.
📝 Step-by-Step Instructions (Toast)
On the POS, add the customer’s items to a tab.
Tap the Rewards button on the main screen.
Click Look Up Customer.
In the Apply Rewards pop-up, select Lookup.
Search for the customer using the phone number tied to their loyalty account.
Select the customer and click Done.
Once the customer is attached to the order, they will earn loyalty rewards automatically for that transaction. If a customer has not created a loyalty account before, you can create one for them from the pos: How customers join your loyalty program
📝 Step-by-Step Instructions (Online / In-App)
When customers place orders online or in the app, loyalty earning is automatic.
Customers automatically earn rewards on every qualifying order.
At checkout, customers will see the rewards they are earning displayed before completing payment.
